New Character Sheet and Progress on Beta


Good news, I'm not dead! I'm just awful at keeping people updated on what's going on.

Well that's not true, I update people on the discord all the time, including asking for their feedback at every step while I was working on this new character sheet.

I'm actively working on the Beta version of Inversion. I finished updating the character sheet, and since the next release may take awhile to be fully cleaned up and posted on itch, I wanted to publish the character sheet early since I think it's better.

My goal for the Beta release is to start carving out space for art, and figuring out exactly how much art I will need. This is also my chance to reconsider how many options various tables throughout the document have. I don't think I did it on purpose, but I would be lying if I said that the question "how many options can I fit onto a page" didn't determined how many options I put into the book.

This will also give me the chance to spread out the rules boxes in some of the more densely packed areas (looking at you magic and tech items).

As with every update the Beta comes with a few minor rules corrections and changes, and like the character sheet I might just release them as early patch notes with a post here on itch, and on the discord. Do I get to call it errata? Gosh that I would be cool if I get to call it errata.

As far as new content, it will be mostly more enemy stat blocks for combat because that's the least filled out section, and more advice in the GM section. I'm also trying to figure out what to include as the sample adventure.
