I've gotta be honest, in terms of indie tabletop RPGs (and I have seen quite a few), this one's easily in my top ten right now, and deservedly so too. Great art, interesting lore, simple but rewardingly deep mechanics that ensures that every choice you make even in character creation is meaningful and immersive, and all you'll mostly be using outside of dealing damage or increasing certain derived stats are d12s.
It's been an honor to be part of the many who've tried, read, and even paid for Inversion RPG. I've gotta say, for a "beta build" release, it's already making most fully finished TTRPGs feel like they've been blown out of the water in terms of inventiveness. If we're assigning a completely arbitrary number ranking for how I feel about Inversion, I'd say it'd easily be a 9.75/10, if not a 10/10. I hope in earnest to one day GM a session of this one in the near future.
Having played a few sessions now, what sticks out to me most is that everything in the book feels like it's meant to be there. The setting, the mechanics, the choices you can make, everything was placed with an eye to how it would work with everything else, and it gives the game a sense of coherence that you don't often see.
The other thing that sticks out is that you have so much freedom in character creation, but the game trusts you. At no point does it put up unnecessary guardrails or say "no, you can't do that," instead taking the approach of "there's no rule saying you can't."
Inversion is a shining example of commitment to a concept, with every aspect of the game thoughtfully designed to support its unique setting and ideas. The d12 success mechanic ensures that every choice in character creation is meaningful, with no option feeling wasted or suboptimal. Each mechanic feels fun and rewarding to use, and there’s an abundance of great options to explore.
This is easily one of the best indie TTRPGs I've come across, and I've read quite a few. It strikes a perfect balance between immersive storytelling and solid mechanics. Players who prefer lighter games won't feel overwhelmed by complex calculations, while those who enjoy more strategic depth will find plenty to engage with. It's a brilliantly designed game, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Oh snap, Simon Roy did the art for this? No wonder it looks so good!
Very detailed game, my only negative feedback is that you used big words. :(
